Indonesian Accor workers get support from IUF members in India

Hotel workers in Dehli and Goa held protest actions in support of their sisters and brothers harassed by Accor management at the Ibis Tamarin in Jakarta Indonesia (read more here).

On December 14 the IUF-affiliated Hotel Employees Federation of India (HEFOI) held a protest action in in Delhi. After police stopped them from demonstrating in front of the Ibis Delhi Airport Hotel, they continued their action 500 meters from the hotel.

This was followed on December 17 when 140 hotel workers mobilized by North and South Goa IUF affiliates rallied outside the Novotel Goa Shrem Resort in solidarity with the Jakarta union.
