US fast food workers step up their fight

“15$ and a union”, “We are worth more” and “Raise up for $15”: these were the slogan fast food workers chanted during one of the largest fast food workers’ gatherings on July 26 and 27, when hundreds of workers from all over US gathered in a convention center in Chicago, only four miles from McDonald’s headquarters, to decide on next steps for the “Fight for 15″ campaign”.
