El Salvador: AB InBev puts profit before life

AB InBev’s subsidiary La Constancia LTDA in El Salvador has been ignoring health protocols for the prevention and control of COVID-19.

The IUF-affiliated Union of Constancia Workers (Sitraconsta) issued a statement denouncing the situation while demanding the company put in place immediate measures to guarantee the health and safety of its workers.

Sitraconsta has stated that it will hold the transnational company responsible in the event of any deaths of workers infected with COVID-19. You can access their statement in Spanish here.
