Workers fight job destruction at Nestlé and FRONERI in Italy

The Italian unions, FAI-CISL, FLAI-CGIL and UILA-UIL, organized strikes at Nestlé and Nestlé-FRONERI factories in Italy on Friday, 6 October and a rally in the city of Perugia on 7 October.

Numerous solidarity messages arrived from IUF affiliates in the UK, Germany, Austria and Hungary.

The IUF calls on affiliates to continue to show their support by sending solidarity messages and photos.

On Friday, 13 October, the union committee at Perugina together with the trade unions will meet management and again try to clear the table of those 350 redundancies that Nestlé wants to force on the factory.
